I chose to go with this idea... The brown on the first set is supposed to be darker, and the red on the middle once are more red. Im having difficulties deciding which color background to go with... and the layout on the sides as well. I would appreciate to get some suggestions.
Thanks in advance:)

The black and brown are fairly close, I am liking the dark brown and the top layout. There was a comment made in crit about it almost looking tea-like. I wonder if rounding the tips a bit more would make it more coffee-like. I am smitten with the design though, I like the direction it is taking!
I really like the top versions better because it looks very clean and elegant. I agree with the previous post about this looking very tea like and also I am wondering how the coffee is going to be stored in the packaging and how sturdy it will be to hold all that coffee. But overall great design and I love the color choices.
I like the brown ones better. You said that the brown is suppose to be darker but I actually really like this brown, I'm thinking that if it gets darker, then its going to look too much like black. Maybe you can make the beans a bit more rounder? I like the color you are using. Good job. :]

I like the direction your designs are going. They have a sophisticated look. I prefer the brown over the black for background color. While your color combination is appealing, I would like them to have more reference to the flavor. Lastly, I like both of the choices for the side panels and wonder if they could be combined.
I'm drawn more to the top design due to its sheer simplicity and elegance. The color choices are working pretty well on the type, but it looks to me like the black box for the package makes it a bit difficult to perceive the product as coffee. It could also be the fact that you have that little leaf looking shape up top and on the sides, so you might not even need it since your coffee bean could stand on its own just as well. Also, your typeface for the flavors is a tad illegible, though it is nice and elegant. Maybe you could try one that is closer to the typeface you used for Folgers because right now it seems to be washed out on the structure. Great work!
Definitely go with the dark brown set (the black set looks more like cologne/perfume packaging). The very simple yet elegant theme works well for the product, good job.
On the hazelnut, if you can try to make the elnut closer the haz, it reads weird right now with the e so far spaced from the z. I think the top layout works out better for functional purposes. The side graphics on the second layout don't really do anything functionality wise. On the first layout the flavor and brand are there, in case the boxes aren't displayed properly.
I think the black makes the colors brighter and more vibrant but it doesn't feel like coffee. Maybe you can try putting a thin brown border on each panel. I do like the black boxes more though because it's different.

I like the the top part better. It is clean and concise.
the best of the two set is the first one. the hierarchy is elegantly simple to the viewer. the composition of the letter is a little bit of because the hazel nut. Are you doing the separation because the other has two name and the hazel nut is just one word . how about doing the separation with hazel and then nut well over all it great work
i really love your design! the dark brown is so classy and clean cut and with the outlined coffee beans it stands out even more with the bright colors. i think your doing an excellent job on this keep it up!!!

this is looking pretty amazing so far design-wise. it looks super high-end and sophisticated. the only thing is, does it look TOO high end for foldgers?
the black looks really good though. the colors pop wonderfully. good job!
I think this is working out pretty well.
The typeface you're using for Foldgers seems a bit thin and doesnt make much contrast with the thin wispy lines of the script. Perhaps a heavier weight or even sans serif would work together.
good work
I like the 1st set better
I really like what you've done with the one on top. I think it's simple, clean, and elegant. The word hazelnut seems a bit spacey though. My eye sees it as almost two individual words. I read it as haz and then elnut. I think you could also boost up the wordings on the side just a tad bit but that's all. What you have is great so far. I can't wait to see the finalized version. =)
Sarom R.
so who are you paying to do your designs?
its finished.
The black BG looks more sophisticated and the designs on the brown layouts are better than the bottom ones.
When you put this together, how will it look? Is it just a rectangle? Maybe the coffee can be in like a plastic bag in the box, but the bag also has some designs on it as well.
